Work Experience

Internal Audit Intern at Farm Credit Financial Partners, Inc.

Core Duties: -Manage audit requests from both PricewaterhouseCoopers and Crowe. -Maintain documentation and evidence provided to the internal audit team. -Work with employees to provide clear and accurate evidence that will satisfy audit requests. -Meet weekly with PricewaterhouseCoopers to discuss tasks and objectives that are being worked on by the internal audit team and the PricewaterhouseCoopers team. -Meet bi-weekly with Crowe to discuss the status of ongoing or completed internal audits. -Manage outstanding audit requests throughout the audit period. Projects: -Worked with an employee from Deloitte to create a PowerPoint that expressed the importance of internal controls and the System and Organization Controls Report. The presentation was given to all staff members at Financial Partners. -Assisted in creating a financial spreadsheet control policy that enhanced controls over spreadsheets related to the financial statements. -Created a spreadsheet inventory template for the finance team with fields that documented the new changes in the financial spreadsheet control policy.

Information Security Intern at Freedom Credit Union

During the 2016 winter break for college, I had great opportunity of working as an information security intern at Freedom Credit Union. I shadowed the IT manager there, and was able to learn a lot about what goes on during an IT managers daily routine. I also worked with the help desk employee when she needed to go on service calls to fix equipment, troubleshoot problems, and install new equipment when an employee needed it. Overall it was one of the greatest experiences I have ever had.

December 2016 - February 2017

Customer Service Associate at Stop and Shop Supermarket

I was very ambitious at a young age and was able to get a job at my local supermarket at the age of fifteen! At this job, I was able to gain a lot of customer service experience by working the cash register and resolving any problems that would come up. While it was a bit stressful going to high school and working at the same time, I am very glad I did it and am very happy that I was able to get exposure to customer service at such a young age.
