Responsible for daily operations of three primary care practices and one specialty practice which includes Behavioral Health, Internal Medicine, General Surgery, OBGYN, Orthopedics, Hematology/Oncology, Pain Management and Pulmonology Responsible for obtaining Patient Centered Medical Home certification for Primary Care & Internal Medicine practices. Responsible for obtaining Rural Health Center designation for Primary Care practices. Responsible for assuring that revenue cycle processes are compliant with all requirements for timeliness, completeness, and accuracy. Assists in managing the implementation and continued use of the electronic medical records (EMR) at required PPM Sites. Assists in managing the onboarding of new providers and practices in operations and training capacities. Assist in human resources activities for staff development including job posting, interviewing, hiring, orientation, training and continued education of staff on all practice workflow processes to ensure compliance with medical regulations and office performance standards. Initiates and assists in staff discipline actions. Initiates investigations as needed. Assists management team with investigations of patient complaints, incidents. Performs staff education if needed in resolution of an event. Responsible for medical and clerical supply ordering as well as creating operational budgets. Assists in development and monitoring of insurance contractual relationships including knowledge of provider participation, coding and billing, financial counseling, and other financial processes. Review provider production reports (on a periodic basis, i.e., monthly, quarterly, annual and ad hoc) for performance standards (productivity, service, patient satisfaction, etc.). Assists in development and communication of action plans for improvement Works to establish, educate, maintain and monitor all standards required under the accreditation standards of Det Norske Veritas (DNV).
