Rodrigue Makelele is a Just-Peace activist with six years of experience at organizations based in DRC, Malawi and USA. Founder and CEO of Vijana Africa, a youth-led nonprofit present in DRC and Malawi, he has significant experience in organizational leadership. He is a trained blogger with more than 120 articles published on numerous social issues including human rights abuses. He has delivered a wide range of trainings to youth in the field of peacebuilding, human rights, and activism. He is an out-of-the-box thinker and multilingual translator with a high comfort level working with people from different cultures and backgrounds. He is completing an MA in Conflict Transformation at Eastern Mennonite University in Virginia.
