Marcus Richardson
Im an 18-year-old teen with a passion for community engagement work. I recently graduated from Carver S.T.E.A.M Academy in Atlanta Georgia in the top 10% of my class and am now continuing my education at Valdosta State University as a Biology major on the Pre-Anesthesiologist Assistant (AA) track. WIth the the knowledge I will gain in my undergraduate career, I will take it to AA school where I'll become an anesthesiologist assistant by the year 2027 and work along the anesthesia care team in a clinical setting. In the past three years I have been able to engulf myself into the world of science and healthcare, its what sparked my interest in becoming an AA. I shadowed doctors at Emory University and Conducted HIV research for Morehouse School of Medicine. Something I love to participate in is community involvement whether its with my school or my surrounding neighborhoods. It's a way for me to provide help and assurance to others.

C.H.O.I.C.E.S (Center for helping obesity in children end successfully) Here I am A Junior Apprentice and supervisor to other Apprentices. I direct cooking classes to the youth of the Atlanta metropolitan area and spread awareness of the importance of obesity and nutrition and how a healthy lifestyle can be beneficial. I was also able to plan many food drives under the organization's name.

My main role is to take on the responsibility of keeping track of important information that was held in meetings and plan out discussions for the rest of SGA.
