Maggie Muller is a multidisciplinary artist, educator-in-training, Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, and 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher based in New York. She holds a B.S. in Fashion Merchandising from SUNY Oneonta (2015), an A.A. in Liberal Arts from Suffolk County Community College (2013), and an A.A.S. in Occupational Therapy Assisting from Suffolk (2022). She is currently earning her M.A. in Art Education at Adelphi University, where she is a member of Gamma Beta Phi, the National Society of Collegiate Scholars, and the Society of Collegiate Leadership and Achievement. During her OTA program, Maggie served as class president and was recognized with Outstanding Academic Excellence Awards for both the 2020-2021 and 2021-2022 academic years. She is also a proud inductee of Phi Beta Kappa and Alpha Sigma Lambda honor societies. Maggies professional and creative journey weaves together art, education, and healing. She ran a special education program for adults at the nonprofit Blue Lotus and has led workshops that integrate meditation, art-making, and sound healing for emotional release and relaxation. An active member of the Babylon Arts Council since 2022, Maggie earned an Honorable Mention at the Councils 2024 annual show. Her work was also featured in a 2023 mental health awareness exhibit hosted by Islip Arts and in a Wizard of Oz-themed showcase at Islip Town Hall. Maggies long-term goals include teaching art to students in grades K12 and returning to Suffolk County Community College as an art instructor, where her creative roots first began.

Margaret Muller was recognized for earning an academic award
During her Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) program, Maggie Muller received multiple awards recognizing her leadership as class president, outstanding academic performance with Academic Excellence Awards for both 20202021 and 20212022, her dedication to peer success through tutoring support, and her pioneering achievement as the first OTA student from Suffolk County Community College to complete clinical fieldwork at Stony Brook University Hospital.
