Maria Zamora Corena
I made the move from El Salvador to Mississippi when I was little. I have grown up here my whole life, and I am so blessed for the experiences I have had. The beautiful campus of Ole Miss became my home for the past 4 years. Even though Chemical Engineering made me feel like i was losing my sanity sometimes, I love my major and the friends that I made while pursuing it. I wouldn't trade the late nights in the sweatshop or CME for the world (plus there were always snacks haha). I will be working for International Paper in Memphis, TN soon, but Ole Miss will always have a part of my heart!
