Dr. Mark J. Kasper is an American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) certified clinical exercise physiologist. He is most passionate about physical activity as a lifestyle. Dr. Kasper has directed university based adult fitness and hospital based cardiac rehabilitation programs, worked for government exercise facilities, and administered countless non-invasive clinical exercise tests. He is past chair of the ACSMs certification and registry boards, was on the inaugural ACSM academic endorsement review team, has been a reviewer for several ACSM textbooks, and was a chapter author for the first and second edition of the ACSMs certification review texts. Dr. Kasper is currently a site visitor for the Committee on Accreditation for the Exercise Sciences and since 2007 a peer reviewer for the Journal of American College Health. Dr. Kasper states - I teach because I love mentoring the next generation of practitioners.
