Matthew Wilson
My ultimate goal in life is to become an environmental leader. I have been trained as a Climate Reality Project [CRP] leader, which is the program that Al Gore began after filming the documentary An Inconvenient Truth centered on promoting more adaptive climate change policies locally and regionally, as well as educating the public about climate change. After completing my week-long training in late 2016, I was connected to CRP's network of environmental leaders from around the U.S. and around the world and have completed several environmental political projects with fellow members.
As a CRP trained leader and environmental news forum manager, my primary professional focus is leading environmental and socially progressive political campaigns. I value creating a world that follows the tenets of sustainability: people, profit, and planet, and I work to promote these tenets through my writings and campaign work. Through my academic background in environmental science and sustainability, I hope to communicate the best methods of sustainability and resilience available to government officials, business leaders, and the general public in order to realize the vision that one day we all can live in a more adaptable and enduring world. I believe this vision is possible, and if you wish to learn more about why I believe so and more about me, please visit my website, www.mattwilsonofficial.com.
