I was responsible for the products (pretty much anything and everything not clothing or electronics/dvds) being brought out to the sales floor and being put safely onto the shelves in a safe and organized manner. I would also be responsible for "Zoning", a procedure to tidy up the products in a particular area of the store at the end of the night. In addition to these main responsibilities, I was also expected to provide excellent service, cover the stores operator position, respond to back up calls from the cashiers when they were shorthanded, cover the electronics booth, assist the cart attendant, and clean up spills that were not above the clearance that I had. (meaning that most spills of coffee were not a problem, but other things such as blood or human excrement were not safe for me to clean up.)
