I was a nanny to two boys this summer and worked 4 days a week all day until the parents came home from work. I had the kids work on educational books, incorporated reading time every day, took them to library activities, participated in physical activities that got them moving and out of the house(like swimming, biking, walking to the playground, bowling). I also played board games, dice games, math games, with them while taking care of meals and making sure the house and dishes were clean every day.
