- Assist with new hire orientation and training activities: Assemble welcome packages, necessary paperwork, and guidebooks for coops and new employees. Welcome new hires and copy their I9 documents. Take head shots for identification badges. Assist senior generalists with Workflow orientation. Ensure that orientation runs efficiently and smoothly by performing various tasks. Organize and file all completed paperwork at the end of the day.
- Plan and market intern and co-op events, retirement parties, and meetings.
- Analyze the hourly employees' rotation schedule to determine the percentage of movement on the production floor and track change in rotation patterns.
- Research how we can benchmark our HR department and co-op program.
- Reviewed SHRM benchmarking materials and suggestions to create a HR report card.
