I'm a communications professional whose career over the past decade has included a mix of technical writing, user experience (UX) writing, and marketing communications work for technology companies. I'm currently working towards earning a master's degree in Communications with a focus in New Media & Marketing and am excited about crossing that finish line in 2025. Prior to returning back to college later in life to complete my undergraduate studies at SNHU, my academic journey began at my former alma mater (NC Central University). I'm a first-generation college graduate in my *immediate* family and have dedicated my bachelor's degree to my late parents and grandparents. I aspire to use my education to be of service through meaningful work that will positively impact someone's life directly or indirectly.
