Currently I am a Resident Assistant at the University of Iowa. Working in my living learning community, my role is to help residents build relationships with each other, while encouraging them to attend important campus events. I take great pride in the responsibility I have been given to build and lead an engaged community. While attending the University of Iowa, my studies have been directed towards earning a degree in Marketing and Data Analytics. I have managed to work with a heavy course load, along with working a part time job into my schedule. I have developed time management skills that I never knew I would need. I feel confident I can learn any task, and strive to be the best me that I can be everyday. I would love to be a part of your team.

Work Experience

Resident Assistant at University of Iowa

Currently as a Resident Assistant, my job is to build a community between the 40 residents in my LLC. In order for this to occur, I must work with a team of other Resident Assistants in planning and executing events for 60+ residents, along with engaging individual residents on a day to day basis. I am also responsible for dealing with adverse situations as they occur. These situations range anywhere from a noise complaint to an emergency situation. This position has helped me develop my critical thinking skills, along with my communication skills. It is my job to quickly think, act, and communicate what must be done.
