Majoring in Educational Administration And Supervision (Pk-12)
Chadron State College, Class of 2017
From South Sioux City, NE
My name is Micah Fisher and this is my first year as an educator. I completed my undergraduate degree from Midland University in Fremont, NE in December 2013. I finished with a double major in Physical Education (K-12) and a Fitness/Sports Management, where I also completed a minor in coaching. I am currently the health/physical education teacher at South Sioux City High School. At South Sioux City High School, I am involved with a quite a bit of extra-curricular activities. I am an assistant coach for the varsity football team, boys basketball team, and boys soccer team. I am also a part of the college and career readiness committee, as well as the curriculum development committee with the Science/Physical Education department. During my free time, I like to watch sporting events or television series. I dont have a lot of time to do much because of teaching or coaching. I have plenty of things that I need to get done. In the summer, I will be marrying my best friend. So majority of my free time is helping my fianc plan for our wedding. Needless to say with teaching, coaching, graduate program, and getting my marriage together, this has been one of the craziest and greatest experience of my life. I look forward into growing as an educator and learning how to grow in all areas of being the best teacher I can.
