Michelle Richter

I am currently seeking a bachelor's degree in Psychology. With that degree I hope to pursue my dreams of becoming a therapist. From a young age, I discovered that I was put on this earth to make others happy and set out into the world with the intentions of doing so. That dream started and evolved from the idea of becoming a famous performer in the form of singing and acting, to a career in bartending and restaurant management, where I took the stage as a server and delivered people happiness in the form of a cocktail and a good meal. That 12-year career in the hospitality business soon evolved into a career in real estate as a salesperson, where I strive to assist in helping others achieve their goals of home ownership. Being a therapist will allow me to give back to the world. I experienced a lot of traumas coming of age that I did not know how to process. With the help of various therapists over the years, I worked through it. I believe I have the life experience to contribute to society, through furthering my education with SNHU, I seek the knowledge and tools to help others grow.
