City Tech Coders President
I ran a club called "City Tech Coders", during my last semester at New York City College of Technology. This club had a goal to expose students to programming and was made to be beginner-friendly for people who never programmed before. Every week I put together slides, examples, and exercises for students to follow along and practice their skills on every topic. In the end, students were able to put all their new knowledge to work by making a simple text-based RPG simulator. We had an amazing turnout of over 15+ students in each lesson.

FIRST (FIRST Robotics Competition + FIRST Tech Challenge)
I was the captain of the robotics team at my high school. We built, tested, and programmed robots to do various tasks, and competed with schools all over the world. I learned how to manage a team, plan out meetings, and create technical drawings. Furthermore, I learned what it takes to be a team leader and help keep everyone's morals up even in the toughest of times.

Undergraduate Research and Entrepreneurship Program
During the fall semester of 2020, my team and I did research into the impact Covid-19 had on the hospitality industry, more specifically the hotel industry aspect of the industry. We researched new ways to fight against the ever-growing threat of Covid-19 and this led our group to pursue research into robotics for the workforce. We spent the semester both gathering information about how robotics is being utilized in the industry right now, and how adopting it more openly will be beneficial. We decided to 3D model some robot concepts using software’s and we created robotic schematics which included circuitry and coding. At the end of the semester, we presented our findings with supporting information to our peers, professors, and department administrators. I personally learned how to perform research, write a research paper, experimentation, and much more.

Intro to Software Engineering Project
During my time in this course, my team and I were tasked to create a prototype application that allowed school administrators to chat with students in real-time. We learned many new technologies along the way and built a simple application. Using technologies like Unity, Github, MySql, and an email confirmation application in order to create this prototype. We went through many different software engineering models and learned how to document everything as if it was a real-life scenario. You can find the GitHub application and the technical report here as well.
