I've been involved in healthcare and helping the under-served community for over 5 years. Volunteering my skills and working in healthcare facilities that provide care to the under-insured or uninsured public has developed my perspective in ways I cannot put into words. My main interest in healthcare is the field of adult medicine and, more specifically, the breast cancer or general oncology area. I strive to become a breast cancer nurse navigator, oncology nurse, or a related specialty in the near future.
