Muhling Chong
I will be graduating this May with a master degree in public health. My concentration is Biostatistics. I have obtained a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics. My educational background gives me a solid training in theoretical and applied statistics.This semester, I enjoy my time working with my preceptor and the other research professionals at my practicum with the biomechanics lab of the Kinesiology Department of Georgia Southern University. I am working as a biostatistics graduate assistant as well as a fitness instructor at the local gyms.

Working on research projects related to Electromyography and Dynamometry data collected from the biomechanics lab of the Kinesiology Department. I assist the continuous development of the assessment and follow-up protocol, write abstracts for the APHA’s annual research presentation, etc. I also do statistical analysis based on Seer cancer research database.
