Majoring in Asn
Dalton State College
From Dalton, GA
Hi, Im Myranda Bonner, a nursing student at Dalton State College currently pursuing my Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN), with plans to go on to earn my BSN. Nursing isnt just a career path for meits a calling. Ive always been drawn to caring for others, and I truly believe that being a nurse means showing up with both skill and heart, especially when patients and families are at their most vulnerable. My dream is to work in pediatric nursing, with a focus on oncology or intensive care. Ive seen firsthand how powerful compassionate, knowledgeable care can be during a childs hardest moments. Thats the kind of nurse I want to besomeone who brings both comfort and strength when its needed most. Outside of the classroom, I serve as president of the Campus Cats Advocacy Club and have been actively involved in advocating for better support for student-parents, including on-campus childcare. As a mom of two myself, I understand the balancing act and want to help create a more supportive college experience for others like me. Making the Deans List while managing school, parenting, and leadership has challenged me in the best ways. Every late-night study session and early morning class reminds me why Im doing this: to make a real difference, one patient at a time.
