July, 28 2026 - Verified by California State University, StanislausGained a comprehensive understanding of criminal and civil court procedures by completing 60 hours of courtroom observation at the Stanislaus County Superior Court in Modesto. Observed a wide variety of legal proceedings, including arraignments, preliminary hearings, jury trials, sentencing hearings, and civil litigation, which offered firsthand insight into the judicial process from the filing of a case through its resolution. Carefully documented courtroom proceedings through detailed notetaking while analyzing legal arguments, judicial reasoning, witness testimony, attorney advocacy, and jury procedures. Developed a strong understanding of courtroom protocol, evidentiary rules, trial advocacy, and the distinct roles of judges, prosecutors, defense attorneys, jurors, witnesses, and court staff. Strengthened critical thinking, analytical reasoning, and professional communication skills by evaluating case strategies, seeing legal decision-making, and maintaining professionalism, confidentiality, and proper courtroom etiquette throughout the program.
I worked as a physical education coach for a program that was offered after school and involved young children. I was a positive role model for them and helped expose them to new sports like pickleball, soccer, and basketball every day for almost three hours. I also taught them stretches and helped them learn new sports. I was able to acquire abilities in cheerfulness, friendliness, and mentoring with this experience as well as problem solving and leadership. Additionally, I learned how to inspire teamwork and enthusiasm within an environment that was both entertaining and helpful.
I gained a thorough understanding of criminal procedure, evidentiary rules, and trial advocacy by observing courtroom proceedings, such as the 2012 McClure Road homicide trial. This helped me to better understand complex criminal litigation from investigation to trial outcomes, including arraignments, hearings, and trials. I worked with the DA on daily caseloads, watching as the prosecutor made decisions about charges and plea deals, presented evidence, and questioned witnesses. In a fast-paced setting, I worked with legal personnel to prepare cases while upholding professionalism, confidentiality, and appropriate courtroom etiquette.
To assist with attorney appraisal and case strategy, I performed preliminary legal research by combining statutes, case law, and regulations. I kept orderly private case files and evidence while helping to prepare legal agreements, contracts, discovery materials, and case summaries. To gain a better understanding of litigation strategy and professional communication, I documented legal arguments and courtroom procedures while observing attorney-client meetings, hearings, and depositions. Along with managing communications, scheduling, digitizing documents, and maintaining legal management systems, I also assisted with day-to-day office operations.
I resolved customer issues with empathy and professionalism, even under pressure, which increased customer loyalty and repeat business. I smoothly managed lines and crowds, restocked displays with beautiful arrangements, and advised customers using my product knowledge. I helped customers navigate the corporate website, place online orders, and choose RV parts while keeping accurate records for follow-up. I met professional development goals and implemented a rewards program to improve client interactions and repeat business.
I provided attentive childcare by including children in games, puzzles, reading, and storytelling to promote language and learning development. I provided emotional support and stability to upset youngsters, as well as effective resolution approaches for sibling disagreements. I made nutritious meals, kept the area clean and sanitary, and demonstrated daily routines such as sharing, organizing, and handwashing. I developed solid, trusting relationships with families by communicating positively and providing care that was personalized to each child's requirements.
At a three-day Model UN conference, I spoke as Tanzania's representative on the World Health Organization (WHO) Committee and gave an introductory statement on pharmaceutical counterfeiting and fake medical items. I co-sponsored a resolution advocating stricter drug control, international collaboration, and public awareness after doing a lot of research on global health policy. To reach an agreement on difficult global health concerns, I worked with foreign delegates in discussions, caucuses, and negotiations. I developed my leadership, diplomacy, and strategic communication abilities and received an Honorable Mention Award for outstanding work.
At a three-day Model UN conference, I represented Sweden as a delegate in the General Assembly. I gave an opening address that showed excellent public speaking and diplomatic skills. I wrote and co-sponsored three resolutions about equal access to education in poor countries, protection of Indigenous populations in North America, and protestor rights and free speech. Through research and cooperation with foreign delegates, I accurately represented Sweden's foreign policy while actively participating in discussions, caucuses, and negotiations. In addition to getting practical experience in leadership and international relations, I was recognized with an Honorable Mention for my professionalism and clear communication.
As a representative of Lebanon in the UN Women Committee at a Model UN conference, I gave an engaging introductory address about the precarious state of women's rights in Afghanistan under the Taliban. I accurately researched and presented Lebanon's stance, promoting international collaboration, aid supported by the UN, sanctions against gender injustice, and grassroots empowerment for Afghan women and girls. As a co-author of a resolution addressing discriminatory nationality laws and advocating for equal citizenship rights for women globally, I actively participated in discussion and negotiation. Throughout the conference, I showed excellent leadership, tact, and professionalism, and I was recognized for my exceptional work and contribution with an Honorable Mention Award.
