Nataly Medrano
As a special education teacher, I have seen the need for students who are non-English speakers. My bilingual educational background and versatile experience would make me a perfect School Counselor and I could support those students who need it. With the growing population of non-native English speakers, I feel that I could help students and schools bridge the gap as I know how it is to start over in a new place.
The output of my work and the positive feedback I have consistently received demonstrates my empathy, discipline, sense of responsibility, and organizational skills have earned the trust and respect of my supervisors. I also have always connected with my students at a high level at every place I have taught. This made it very difficult for me personally when I have changed jobs as I have developed true relationships with the students and staff where I have worked. I have a variety of skills in addition to my fluency in two languages. I feel that I can help both native English and Spanish speakers. Some people know how to connect with children naturally, and I truly feel that this is something that I do well.
I am extremely blessed with everything that I have learned so far.
