Nathan Cote

Hello! I am a second-year junior studying computer science at Worcester Polytechnic Institute. During my first year at college, I have taken a variety of strenuous coursework to improve my programming skills while working on a variety of personal projects to aptly prepare myself for more challenging courses to come. Additionally, I am a member of the Alpine Ski Team and am excited for our next season to begin this upcoming December. Otherwise, I have recently returned from my IQP in which my team and I spent several months working with a local Venetian organization to analyze the livability of the Historic City Islands of Venice, Italy. With the development of seven indicators alongside a webapp to discover the most livable islands based upon the individual needs of the user, we were able to produce a comprehensive research paper analyzing the core factors that influence the livability of the Historic City Islands of Venice. Apart from these activities, I have always had a passion for soccer, game development, and expanding my musical boundaries by attempting to (poorly) learn how to play the guitar. I am persistently trying to better myself by learning new skills and cannot wait for my next large-scale coding project to consume the entirety of my attention.
