Nicholas Miller
I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in physics as at Marietta College. I intend to further my education with graduate degrees in areas related astronomy, physics, computer & data science. I would like to someday obtain a Ph.D in one of these fields. Currently my interests lie in the field of cosmology and large scale structure, both observational and theoretical.
I enjoy data science problems and the opportunity to interact with the public. I have a passion for scientific outreach and volunteer work.
I grew up in Wooster, Ohio an area abundant in corn-fed cows and starry skies. I am a lifelong learner, a handy man, researcher, educator, an athlete and a food connoisseur.

I serve as the technical assistant for Marietta College’s digital classrooms. I am the IT Tech for Marietta college professors’ system concerns and the school’s Moodle classrooms assistant administrator. I operate and administer faculty Moodle-rooms and facilitate instructive seminars for faculty training. I have gained experience with information systems and program designs; in which I have worked with Mac, Windows, and Linux based systems to complete these range of tasks. I have developed professional and personal interaction skills with professors and teaching aids; while developing the technological skills of each.
