I'm pumped to get involved at VSU. I plan to join the radio team, the clarinet choir, hip hop dance class, and find someone to teach me to play the bass. I hope I have the verve to keep up with all of it!
I'm most excited for my foundations of philosophy class because philosophy is one of my biggest passions and I would have majored in philosophy if I hadn't found that psychology (my major) is more practical and is the only field whose magnetism compares to philosophy for me. The last time I read about Carl Jung, I got so excited that the person I was reading with told me to calm down so he could focus. I'm also good with symbolism - analyzing the symbolism in dreams is one of my favorite things to do. I wish I could get a job in dream interpretation. I know that's not a thing, but I feel like it would be a good excuse to dress like a mystical psychic woman (even though my methods would be purely scientific.)
Long-term goals are to write a book that leads people to question the structure of their current morality (reducing crime and general misunderstanding,) to live in a tiny house in the city so I can be close to concert venues but still play my music louder than I could if I was in an apartment, and to build at least one extremely intricate fairy house that I won't know what to do with when I'm done.
My hobbies include Myers-Briggs, writing, origami, drinking pina coladas, and getting caught in the rain. (Bad time for a Shrek reference...?) (It's never a bad time for a Shrek reference)
