Parker Warpula

My name is Parker Warpula, and I am a student at the University of Findlay studying English equestrian and equine business management. Growing up as a homeschooler and a military kid, I dreamed of riding for years before finally receiving my first lesson. Ever since then, I have been in love with horses. I made the decision to attend the University of Findlay to turn my love of horses into a career. Over the summer, I took an internship at Bayshore Equestrian in North Carolina as a riding instructor, where I had the opportunity to gain valuable experience instructing riders of all ages in English riding. Furthermore, I traveled to Connecticut where I earned my English/Western Riding Instructor certification from CHA. During the school year, I work at the college's farms on a daily basis, riding and caring for the 150+ horses on the property. I have lived in 6 different states and have visited 44. I love to travel and experience different cultures with my four siblings and my parents. My dad serves in the U.S. military as a lieutenant commander and I grew up learning to adapt to change, as we moved often. I highly value my Christian faith and live it out on a day-to-day basis. My Christian faith values love towards all, hard work, integrity, compassion, loyalty, perseverance, forgiveness, and respect. II will be displaying these qualities in the workplace and out.
