Patrick Lozier

My professional aspirations pertain to my interest in putting meaning to data using technology as a tool. I have a fascination with solving puzzles and complex lines of code alike. I enjoy environments in which I can work as a part of a team where collaboration and the sharing of ideas are the main focus as we work towards a solution. In my spare time, I practice my skills in Python, SQL, and most recently, C++. I graduated from the University of Iowa completing a bachelors of arts in biochemistry with dual minors in informatics and global health studies. Through my focus on informatics, I have acquired technical programming skills in Python and SQL that I have used to collaborate with teams on projects of various complexities. My volunteer experience in the global health field has allowed me to travel and learn the intricacies of non-profit organizations, all while strengthened my communication skills. My education has created the opportunity for me to apply technical skills to real-world business problems.
