Patricia Capitan

I graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Political Science & Bachelors of arts in Women and Gender Studies with a certificate in National Security, Magna Cum Laude. I enjoyed volunteering and being active in college clubs, such as USNC for UN Women, Student Alliance for Prison Reform, Women's Studies Student Association and others. I spent my weekends either in an event associated with FIU and at my part time job in restaurant hospitality. My interests include gender equality and equity for women in the United States, as well on a more International level. I relished volunteering at events and forums which empower and elevate women in positions of power and politics. In my studies, as well as in the field, I seek to manage and lead effective teams, to accomplish work goals in a timely manner while meeting established performance standards and objectives.
