Preston Ross

My name is Preston James Ross and I am a Dallas, Texas native currently living in Buffalo, New York. I am a New York State licensed practical nurse, who has an associates degree from Jamestown Community College who currently goes to Canisius College where I am pursuing a bachelors degree in political science and business management. I have a background in public service interning at places such as U.S. Senators Kirsten E. Gillibrands and Charles E. Schumers Buffalo offices as well as U.S. Representative Brian M. Higgins Buffalo office. I am extremely involved on my college campus by serving in roles such as secretary for Circle K, a resident assistant for Student Life, treasurer of RHA and the vice president of finance for my fraternity, Sigma Phi Epsilon. I am also a Business and Government Relations Summer 2019 alum for The Fund for American Studies (TFAS) in Washington D.C. Where I took classes at George Mason University and interned for Stateside Associates, the largest state government relations firm in the country. I am fortunate enough to serve as a fellow of the Western New York Prosperity Fellowship, where I have gained many invaluable networking and professional development experiences that will help me facilitate economic and entrepreneurial growth for underrepresented communities. After I graduate from Canisius College this May I plan to pursue a dual masters of public administration and a masters of business administration degree.
