My name is Heather Robertson. I'm 32 years old and I live in a small, rural community in Pennsylvania. I have a beautiful family, and I am currently pursuing a BSN in Nursing and a BA in History. I currently have a goal of writing 3 books and I'm currently training to complete my first marathon. I have been writing poetry and short stories since I was in 7th grade, and I have a passion for learning. At the moment, I am working to get my BSN and my BA. Once I receive them, I intend to get my PhD focusing on holistic medicine and emergency medicine or pursue an MSN and become a Nurse Practitioner. Once my children have grown, I plan to sign up for the Peace Corps to help serve worldly communities. I wanted to serve in the Army/Coast Guard but due to a spinal fusion I received when I was 14, I was unable to do so. Despite those circumstances, I feel the best way to serve my country is to serve using my medical skills and help others in need philanthropically.
