Eight-year military veteran transitioning into cybersecurity and information systems. Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration in Computer Information Systems (CIS) with a concentration in Cybersecurity at Georgia State University. My coursework and training focus on cybersecurity fundamentals, networking concepts, systems analysis, database principles, and information assurance, with an emphasis on protecting systems, managing risk, and supporting secure business operations. I am building a strong foundation in cyber defense, access control, threat awareness, and IT governance, and I am eager to apply these concepts in a real-world environment. I bring discipline, accountability, and adaptability developed through eight years of military service, along with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset and strong communication skills. I thrive in team-based environments and take pride in learning quickly and contributing wherever needed. I am actively seeking a cybersecurity or IT security internship where I can gain hands-on experience, support security operations, and continue developing as an entry-level cybersecurity professional.
