Ricardo Bonilla Alicea

Mechanical Engineering background with a focus on Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD). I am interested on applying CFD and CAE methodologies to clinical scenarios were Engineering, Mathematics and Physiology are combined to enhance patient prognosis through objective processes. I have a deep interest in the design, research and development of Medical Assist Devices, especifically in Cardiac Assist applications. I also have a deep passion for Automotive and Aerospace fluid dynamics and heat transfer and to the use of CFD to enhance thermal and drag characteristics of anything from engines and combustors to whole vehicles.
