Hello, I at 38, I am an older student of HVCC. Life decided that it needed to teach me before it wanted to give me my ability to dream back. From battling addiction, dealing with severe mental health problems, losing a child to NY after having been raised in the sytem. I now maintain a 4.0GPA, and I am living proof that no matter how dark life may seem sometimes, there is ALWAYS a way to get out from under the things that are holding you back, I am living proof that despite what mistakes you have made, it is never to late to live your dreams, it is never too late to push yourself out of your comfort zone, and find out what you are capable of. I am living proof that if you set your mind to something, you can accomplish anything, as long as you work hard, focus, and believe in yourself!
