Ryan Michael Nillo

Majored in Biology
Carleton College, Class of 2016
From Ewa Beach, HI
Aloha! I was born and raised in the island of Oahu with two younger brothers. Being the older brother of an individual within the Autism Spectrum, disorders of the brain have been my passion. Shadowing a neurologist during the summer of 2013 only cemented my passion and expanded my interest to include schizophrenia, Alzheimer's, bipolar disorder, etc. In the future, I want to be a part of the organizations that research cures and treatments for these disorders. Nothing is more depressing than seeing a man, desperately fighting the remnant demons schizophrenia and having to tell him, there is nothing we can do. I want to be the man to change that, not just for schizophrenic patients, but for all those who are afflicted with such disorders. Strengths: Fierce Determination, Leadership Skills, Works well in a Group, Passionate in Biological Sciences
