Junior Analyst at Hanley Sustainability Fund
The Hanley Sustainability Fund is a student-run equity portfolio with a mission of investing in companies with "green" business models. There are two branches in the Hanley Sustainability Fund. There is a non-discretionary algorithmic model which uses different valuation and balance sheet measures, and a discretionary branch which uses fundamental and technical analysis. As a Junior Analyst for the Fund, I am currently in an eight-week program that entails learning everything from simple market analysis to valuation models.
I am also an active member of the Economics team which is a sub-division of the discretionary branch. As a member, I provide monthly economic coverage of a trending topic and present it to fellow members of the team. This involves engaging research and intensive evaluation of that topic.
