I'm a junior at the University of Alabama, dual-majoring in finance and marketing--looking to get ahead of the curve in both industries. In marketing, I'm fascinated by the expansion of social media and its role in not only today's world, but also what role it might play in tomorrow's. I'm intrigued by the communication methods that companies use for their audiences. What marketing channels are bringing about the most contacts? How do I communicate the firm's substance to the marketplace? Bringing finance into the equation--what strategic measures can be taken to maximize the firm's profits through each potential marketing channel? In essence, I've taken the initiative to get involved and gain as much experience in the financial and marketing industries as possible. Through certifications I've received from Google, the clubs and organizations I'm involved in on campus, and my diversified variety of internships--I've been able to adapt and take away key elements from each experience. Now, I look to continue my growth through analyzing financial markets as well as the elite factors of communication between companies and their markets.
