Shayla Simmons

Shayla is a current graduate student in the Emergency Management Program. She will be graduating with her masters during the spring semester 2020. After graduation, she plans to work on her doctorate in Emergency Management to further advance her career in the field. She has worked on various projects that pertain to emergency management practices and procedures such as the Annual Protection Exercise at the Anniston Army Depot. She is also the Co-chair for VPP (Voluntary Protection Program) also at Anniston Army Depot. On a personal note, she is the only child of Dorothy Simmons and looks up to her mother as being the most influential and hardworking individual in her life. She enjoys hobbies such as reading, spending time with close friends and occasionally binge watching her favorite shows.
