I am currently a junior at the University of Iowa double majoring in International Relations: Business and Economics and Asian Language and Literature: Chinese, with a certificate in International Business. During college I have been increasing my fluency in the Chinese language. I studied abroad spring semester 2015 at City University of Hong Kong, and had an internship with the Taiwan Foundation for Democracy (Pearl S. Buck Foundation) in Taipei, Taiwan for two months over the summer. I am currently a Communications intern for the Council for International Visitors to Iowa Cities (CIVIC) in Iowa City, Iowa. My interests include business, public relations, international affairs, communications, culture and marketing. I plan to work for a business or the government and hope to have a job that not only affects my local area but allows me to work internationally as well. At the moment, I am contemplated becoming a lawyer.

I conduct campus walking tours and residence hall tours for five to ten hours a week. While interacting with prospective students and their families, for over an hour at a time, I provide families with an opportunity to address their questions and concerns about the University of Iowa.
