As a GRA I assisted in the daily workings of maintaining a Drosophila lab in the Department of Molecular And Celluar Biology at Kennesaw State University. As a member of Dr. Nowak's lab, I directly assisted in experiments aimed to understand the role of a protein called Akirin in cardiac and skeletal muscle development.
Responsibilities include:
