Scott Stefani

I am a Junior Urban and Regional Planning major double minoring in Business Analytics and Entrepreneurship at Miami University. I am perusing a career in the real estate world and have landed on development as my main interests within the wide field but I am still open into exploring other avenues. I was introduced to real estate at a young age by my father who invests in real estate on the side of owning his own business, and after my internship with Robinson Sothebys International Realty it became clear that real estate was the career path I wanted to pursue. My year long experience with Robinson Sothebys International Realty primarily gave me insight into the residential side of real estate but also afforded me the opportunity to get a glimpse of development projects they were representing. Also, being that condominiums are their specialty I was given a unique familiarity with high rise dealings. In addition to my previous real estate experience my diverse degree path gives me a unique way of thinking. My Urban and Regional Planning major gives me the knowledge of a conceptual thought process that integrates core planning concepts and processes and adapt them to economic, environmental, and administrative challenges. In addition, it gives me the necessary tools and techniques to tackle large-scale problems head on. My Entrepreneurship minor provides me with a unique way of thinking and problem solving that sets me apart from most close minded thinkers. Furthermore, my Business Analytic minor provides me with a vast realm of platforms to execute personal and company related goals.
