From MCDONOUGH, GA
Technology enthusiast. I may be a novice to Information Technology, but I'm eager to learn. My interests range from database management to Information Security. Innovation is key in a thriving field like Computer Information Systems/ Information Technology. I foresee a lifelong career in a firm that engineers products ahead of its time. I may have branched away from CIS throughout my undergraduate career, but I am rooted in all things technology. I enjoy fast-paced and thriving environments enacted for women to succeed in STEM fields. Semester-long group projects have heightened my experience with various software and databases: -basic understanding of SQL -basic knowledge of Java programming language -proficiency in UML diagramming using IBM Rational System Architect -experienced in managing IT projects using Microsoft Project -knowledgeable in iRise storyboarding technology

Assistant Volleyball Coach at Tsunami Volleyball
Collaborate with other Junior Olympic coaches to implement USA Volleyball resources regarding ball-handling, serve receive, serving and setting. Managerial skills include coordinating workouts, training, and practice schedules with head coach. The main objective is team development and youth empowerment. Favorite experience: I most enjoy attending volleyball tournaments at the Georgia World Congress Center and other arenas. I am always in awe of the youth's desire to work together to achieve a common goal. In addition, I enjoy the competitive atmosphere of tournaments. Numerous collegiate coaches and recruiters attend these competitions in search of the most talented athletes and it's incredible to be a part of it all. The aspect of coaching that keeps me coming back is seeing the progress of each student-athlete from the beginning to the end of the season. I remember one player, in particular, had never played on a volleyball team before, but by the end of the season, she was asked to compete on a team two years older for a regional tournament.

Front End Supervisor at The TJX Companies, Inc.
o Conduct research plan and implement innovative policies to eliminate theft o Troubleshoot basic technological issues for cashiers using Kronos software o Boost corporate revenue over 10% by approving lines of customer credit o Manage several customers in a high traffic area, facilitating over 100 transactions o Mentor new hires and inculcate the methodology of the Marshalls brand o Professional maintenance of front end and customer service management Problem solving skills: Every retail operator struggles with ease of checkout. The goal at Marshalls is to get customers in and out in under two minutes. To maintain this policy I suggested a separate register for long transactions, such as layaways and returns. Unfortunately, we have not established a separate return register; however, the most time consuming transactions, layaways, are now completed at a separate terminal.
