Dr. Shani Wilfred joined the Valdosta State University faculty in August 2005. She holds a Doctor of Philosophy in criminal justice with a minor in public affairs from Indiana University, a Master of Arts in criminal justice from Columbia Southern University, and a Bachelor of Science in criminal justice with a minor in psychology from Taylor University. She holds membership in the Academy of Criminal Justice Sciences, Criminal Justice Association of Georgia, and the Southern Criminal Justice Association. She previously taught at Columbia Southern University and Indiana University.
