Shannon Young

I am a dedicated, motivated, and goal-oriented senior graduating in May 2018, currently attending The University of Alabama, with a degree in Event Management and Collaborative Communications. My main focuses are designing, planning and coordinating all aspects for a wide range of events; from weddings to themed parties and corporate events. I have great people management and leadership skills, as I served on the executive council for my sorority of over 400 members, as the Vice President of Membership Recruitment for the Beta Mu Chapter of Alpha Phi. This position entails coordinating and planning the largest formal sorority recruitment in the country, at The University of Alabama.
