I took an extra year to complete my major, but it was worth every minute. Not to say it was easy. I had my share of personal and academic problems along they. The university bands and counseling services along with my friends kept me going. I can't imagine repeating this experience at any other institution and I am proud to be an Oiler. As I head out to begin my adult life, I feel confident that I have been prepared to handle any issues that cross my path because the University of Findlay has helped me grow and accept that I can't change the world, I can only change myself.
