Currently serving as a Disaster Recovery AmeriCorps Volunteer In Service To America (VISTA) for Alliance of Community Assistance Ministries, Inc. (ACAM) until June 2017. ACAM is a management support organization for 15 faith based network partners in the Greater Houston area. ACAM supports its partners through collaborative initiatives, program development, funding, and training and networking. ACAM's partner organizations provide services such as: basic human services, rental assistance, health benefits, homeless prevention, and disaster assistance. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Geoscience (focus in water) with minors in Geology and Geoinformatics also known as Geographic Information Systems (GIS) from Texas A&M University. My career interests include environmental consulting, oil & gas, oilfield chemicals, remediation,research, wastewater treatment, water quality & monitoring, energy (renewable & nonrenewable), waste management,environmental management, urban planning, and the environmental industry.

Disaster Services Served as a Disaster Recovery Coordinator for the Greater Houston Storm Recovery Network (GHSRN), a collaborative of over 30 nonprofit, faith-based, local, state, and national organizations working together to assist those affected by the Memorial Day Floods of 2015 and subsequent disasters. Database and Project Management With guidance and supervision of the Director of Operations and Evaluation, assist with grant proposal preparation, grant reports, grant research, and donor cultivation. Sought new ways to generate additional revenue through events, grants, and donations. Performed Project Management and Resource Development to facilitate the long term recovery process for families affected by the Memorial Day Floods and through GHSRNs disaster recovery related efforts. Management of Communications, Network Communications Held responsible for processing correspondence to the appropriate GHSRN Board Member and assisting with Board communications. Assistance with correspondence and marketing, responsible for creating a Standard Operating Procedures Manual for future long-term recovery committees, based upon lessons learned with the GHSRN. Accountable for social media administration, maintain and update social media sites and include the current objective of support and agency capacity building, and outline schedule to maximize exposures of information on social media. Advise the expansion of the website content and functionality. Assisted with the development and transition of GHSRN to the Harris County Long-Term Recovery Committee (HCLTRC); secretary of the Donations Management committee. Redesigned the Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster (VOAD) organizations logo banner and helped with the re-vamp of the website.
