Shirley Moyer

I am a registered nurse at Rutland Regional Medical Center in Rutland, Vermont. I work on the Surgical Care Unit providing care to both medical and surgical patients. I have been a registered nurse for over two years. I am a former EMT, and worked in the emergency room at University of Vermont Medical Center for 15 years where I learned a vast and irreplaceable amount of knowledge and skill. I am the Safety Resource Officer for SCU, and also work as a preceptor to new hires, and frequently stand in as Relief Charge Nurse of SCU when needed. I am currently enrolled to certify in med/surg nursing, and are in the BSN program at Castleton University.
