Shreya Sule

I have completed my Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering from Mumbai University and I am currently pursuing my Masters degree in Industrial Engineering with Supply Chain and Quality Assurance as the specialization from San Jose State University. I have successfully completed multiple projects, many of which were led by me, during my Bachelors and Masters degree. My most recent projects were based on Operations Research and Lean management along with simulation using ProModel. I have deep interest and knowledge of methodologies used in Operations Research, Lean management and Six Sigma such as DMAIC, 7 Wastes, Business Process Reengineering, 5S, Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Root Cause Analysis, Value Stream Mapping, SIPOC, DICE, SMART, hypothesis testing, forecasting, planning, scheduling, queuing models, probability models, transportation models, control charts, CPM, and PERT along with others. My internship at Navdeep Construction Company was awarded to me due to my excellent and precise final year Bachelors degree project work using the principles of Lean management and Six Sigma. I have excellent communication skills coupled with presentation and written skills. I presented one of my technical papers at a Technical Paper Presentation competition and also presented a project based on energy at Tech Connect by and for Emerson India. I have knowledge in technical as well as non-technical writing and have recently authored four papers. I am proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. I have experience using software such as Minitab, ProModel, AutoCAD, AutoDesk Inventor, and ProE, and I also have programming knowledge using R, R Studio, C++ and Java. In honor of my academic achievements, I received an invitation to join the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi in April 2017. I am a team player and I have experience leading multiple projects. I like to innovate and create. I like to gain hands-on experience rather than theoretical knowledge.
