Routine analysis includes filtering of water samples, determination of pH, turbidity and electrical conductivity, total suspended sediments and volatile suspended sediments. Prepare samples for nutrient analysis and for determination of major cations and anions. Keep detailed laboratory notes to make necessary calculations and data entry.

Manage the delivery of UC Davis Student Farm orders to dining facilities (2x/week). Participate as subcommittee member of the Global Food Initiative, the purpose of which is to build networks among UC campuses and researchers addressing sustainable agriculture, showcase UC achievements and current programs, and enhance UC’s ability to ensure that our activities and initiatives on sustainable agriculture and food systems are accessible and useful to a broad community of stakeholders.
