Mortar Board Senior Honor Society Pynchon chapter is formed of student leaders who have shown examples of scholarship, leadership, and service. The organization strives to create events on campus to incorporate these three values. As a member, you will be able to create bonds with other seniors and increase visibility on campus.
The Cupola Yearbook
The Cupola Yearbook covers all of campus life: Midnight Madness, Homecoming, Late Night at the Rock, Baseball, Lacrosse, etc. The Yearbook takes a whole year here at Western New England University and puts it into a hundred or so pages that we be cherished by alumni and their family's for years to come.
The Pre-Med Club is designed to help prepare students for medical school and mold them into ideal applicants. The emphasis of the club is on scholarship as well as community service, and demonstrates this by coordinating blood drives on campus, volunteering at local hospitals, and hosting practice MCAT and GRE exams. Guest speakers from different sectors of the medical field are hosted as well.

The mission of the National Society of High School Scholars is to recognize academic excellence among high-achieving students, deliver to them value and opportunity through membership, and inspire them to realize their potential.
Monson High School
The Honors Program is intended to give academically qualified and motivated students the opportunity to join a community and participate in challenging courses taught by some of the University’s best faculty. The Program allows students to broaden their education by taking courses in a variety of disciplines with Honors students from other majors, and by exploring topics that cross disciplinary boundaries.
