International Experience Congress Bundestag Youth Exchange for Young Professionals (CBYX) July 2012-July 2013 -1 year living in different regions in Germany -Attended various political seminars in Berlin, Germany -Fluency in German language Personal Travel in Europe 2012-2013: Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, France, Greece, Italy, Netherlands, Portugal, Poland, Switzerland and the United Kingdom Georgia State University: India Study Abroad Program October 2014-December 2014 [ 7 week program in India ] Received the International Exchange Foundation (IEF) scholarship. Cities studied in: Agra, Aligarh, Benares/Varanasi, Bodh Gaya, Delhi, Jaipur, Lucknow, Kolkata, Santiniketan, Bharatpur, Rajgir, and Fatehpur Sikri Studied the Government and Politics of Southern Asia as well as the major religions in India including Hinduism, Islam, Buddhism, Sikhism and immersed in the Indian culture for seven-weeks. Visited the Parliamentary building in the country's capital of New Delhi and met with policy makers in India. Communication Skills Received the Congress Bundestag Youth Exchange for Young Professionals (CBYX) fellowship. During this one-year fully funded program in Germany I integrated into every day German life. The program included: two months language training, four months at a German university, and a six-month internship in a German-speaking work environment. I represented the United States as a cultural ambassador to Germany. Results: - Chosen as one of the 75 Americans nationwide (over 700 applicants) for the prestigious fellowship exchange funded by the United States Congress and German Bundestag. Internship Skills I have been working as an intern for an Atlanta-based law firm John W. Folsom & Associates from June 2011 to present. I report to five supervisors and complete tasks including organizing, filing and summarizing medical records and reports and supporting legal documents for court.
