Cybercrime costs the world more than a trillion dollars every year. Data theft is the crime of the new century, and as technology continues to advance, and black hat hackers get smarter, it's happening faster than law enforcement can keep up. That's where I come in or rather, where I want to be at the forefront in the development of legal protections regarding computer use. My name is Tamara Jones, and I am a Paralegal in Information forensics, with 2o years of international experience in the US Army developing Subpoenas, Discovery request and responses, Interrogatories, Demand letters, and Affidavits. I have a passion for the field of law and want to be part of creating laws to protect internet access, privacy, freedom of expression, global jurisdiction requirements, and guarding the country's industrial infrastructure, which is vulnerable to even simple hacking programs. The face of war is changing, too, from boots on the ground to fingers on the keyboard, and countries are scrambling to develop the rules of engagement where none currently exist. Other experts at Homeland Security, the Department of Justice, the FBI, and state and federal legislators are scrambling to create laws, and I want to be part of the effort. A meticulous, detail-oriented professional, I have a valuable skill set and exceptional interpersonal skills. Throughout my military career, I was consistently recognized for unlimited potential to serve in positions of increased authority. I am also a OEF/OIF veteran. I have more than 10 years of active contributions in civil rights and social activism cases, with advanced proficiency utilizing a range of office productivity tools, legal applications, security, and networking systems, including Westlaw Database and E-Discovery. I like to think of myself as a solutionist, someone who works hard to create the best network defense possible. Please don't hesitate to contact me if your team needs someone of my background and skills.
